With over 25 years of health club industry experience, Isaiah Truyman has led through every stage of his professional career, having dealt with several startups, specialized studios, large commercial clubs, private hospitality resorts, and country clubs. Most recently, prior to founding EZIA Athletic Club on Nantucket, Isaiah served as the marketing and business development director for EZIA Human Performance In San Diego California. Where he led the effort to establish, then protect, and defend its position as the leading athletic training club brand in the region. Isaiah led the fundraising team through its efforts to secure growth equity in 2011 and 2013 and developed EZIA Coach Software.
His experience and leadership roles influence several key areas of business in general management and team development, brand management, and product, and go-to-market strategies – all while leveraging consumer insights to drive strategic positioning and demand generation. His entrepreneurial spirit and diverse background in business development, strategic planning, client management, product development, digital media, and marketing communications, have provided tremendous value to his respective teams. And perhaps his most recognizable effect is his ability to create culture and a strong sense of pride around any mutual endeavor.
In his early years, Isaiah was a competitive athlete and personal trainer where he enjoyed building an invaluable network of athletes and executives within the industry. Over the years, he’s had the opportunity to support a number of great brands including Starwood Hotel Group, TaylorMade/Adidas, hard rock hotels, Qualcomm, Wasserman media group, transworld media group, Ritz Carlton Boston, and others. Isaiah maintains strong ties to key personnel in major organizations across the industry. Originally from Amherst, Massachusetts he has lived and worked in Boston, New York City, and Southern California. Isaiah attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
